Tinted Berzelia Stem

A hybrid variety called Berzelia Kol Kol has balls that begin little and green and turn red near Christmas.

Berzelia, commonly known as the “Button Bush,” is utilized most often when its clusters of spherical flower heads, which resemble large quantities of tiny green peas affixed to a robust stem, are still unopened and green. Faint side shoots of tiny, needle-like leaf, arranged in whorls up the woody stem, are visible beneath the flowering heads.
